In Time

Rating 5/10
Image and video hosting by TinyPic A 2011 action film written and directed by Andrew Niccol and stars Justin Timberlake , Amanda Seyfried and Cillian Murphy . People stop aging at 25 and from there on have to earn time by working and keep track of how long they have by a display in their forearm, the main problem is that time is also the currency so spend too much and its lights out.
The film did remind me of Logan's Run a little bit in that people live for so long. Some people might recognise a certain tunnel from the Dark Knight Rises (The geek in me squealed when I clicked on) and I dont know if its just me but at times I kept thinking that Justin Timberlake looked extremly similar to Wentworth Miller 's character Michael Scofield in Prison Break (Minus the amazing tattoos).
So in a nutshell if you are looking for a nice easy to watch action film thats different then give this a whirl.

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

Rating 8/10
Image and video hosting by TinyPic A 2011 Drama/Mystery film directed by David Fincher based on the best selling novel by Stieg Larsson staring Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara and Christopher Plummer.
I will admit that the main reason I was drawn to this film is that I am a big fan of Nine Inch Nails and heard alot about the soundtrack that was done by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross and I was blown away by it(Loved the little nod towards Nine Inch Nails when you see someone wearing their t-shirt)this is one of the few films out there where the music helps so much with the mood and feel.
The film itself is dialogue driven and you do need to pay attention to what is said because if you miss one little bit you could be lost later on in the film. at 2 and a half hours it is a long film but does not feel like it, looking forward to the other two films.
If you are in the mood for an amazing piece of cinema then this really is the perfect choice for you.

Book Of Blood

Book Of Blood is a mystery/drama/horror film adapted and directed by John Harrison from one of Clive Barker's Books of Blood and stars Jonas Armstrong , Sophie Ward, and Doug Bradley.
The film is rather dark both in the lighting as well as in the plot, I will not be going into the plot because I don't want to be giving anything away. The story had some nice twists and turns that I did not see coming. Not overly gory and does have a few jumps.
Would recommend this for fans of Clive Barkers other works as well as people who are looking for a drama with a little bit more bite.
